Trasformare un ex asilo abbandonato in un laboratorio creativo e in uno spazio di incontro per la comunità di Mis. La diciottesima edizione di Camposaz rientra nel più vasto progetto “reMoto”, un’attività promossa dalla Pro Loco di Sagron Mis, nell’ambito del bando Generazioni 2020, in collaborazione con la Fondazione Riusiamo l’Italia. Obiettivo dell’associazione è quello di rispondere ai bisogni espressi da un gruppo di giovani che quasi vent’anni prima avevano frequentato, come “ultimi alunni”, gli spazi di quella scuola dell’infanzia che oggi è in stato di abbandono. Lo stimolo per avviare un processo di riappropriazione e di riattivazione è nato durante il lockdown, portando avanti una discussione e una riflessione sui luoghi fisici dei piccoli borghi, sulla loro importanza e sul loro ruolo per la comunità. Con i suoi nemmeno 200 abitanti, Sagron Mis è il paese più piccolo e più isolato di tutto il Primiero, il più orientale della provincia di Trento e il più distante dal capoluogo. La riappropriazione di uno spazio da troppo tempo vuoto diventa a Sagron Mis un passaggio cruciale per il rilancio di un’intera piazza e di un intero paese. L’obiettivo è quello di coinvolgere la popolazione nel recupero dell’edificio, in termini funzionali ma anche come metafora di rigenerazione e condivisione.

Dopo una prima attività di sgombero e di riordino dell’edificio che per 15 anni aveva ospitato l’asilo, i partecipanti di Camposaz sono intervenuti nello spazio esterno, un vero e proprio “retro” poco utilizzato e poco soleggiato, a causa della suo affaccio verso nord, per ridare vita a un ambito marginale, che è stato trasformato, con il legno e con un tocco di colore, in luogo di incontro collettivo, un “soggiorno a cielo aperto” a disposizione della comunità. Lo spazio porticato, precedentemente destinato a sabbiera, è stato convertito in un bancone utilizzabile durante gli eventi all’aperto. Per segnalare l’intervento e la riattivazione dell’asilo, rendendolo visibile anche dalla strada, si è deciso di realizzare un’insegna-totem, costruita recuperando i “pezzi di scarto” delle lavorazioni, che sono stati successivamente avvitati dagli stessi abitanti durante la giornata di inaugurazione.

 

The eighteenth edition of Camposaz is part of the larger “reMoto” project, an activity which aims at transforming a former kindergarten now abandoned into a creative laboratory and a meeting space for the community of Mis. The project is promoted by the Pro Loco of Sagron Mis as part of the ‘Generations 2020’ call, in collaboration with the Riusiamo l’Italia Foundation. The aim of the association is to answer to the needs expressed by the “last pupils” that used the spaces of the kindergarten almost twenty years ago and which have now become young citizens engaged in supporting the community. The stimulus to start a process of re-appropriation and reactivation was born during the lockdown caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Discussions and reflections on the physical places of small villages have been carried out to highlight their importance and role for the community. With less than 200 inhabitants, Sagron Mis is the smallest and most isolated village of Primiero Valley, the easternmost in the province of Trento and the farthest from the capital of the Province. The re-appropriation of a space that has been empty for too long becomes a crucial step for the regeneration of an entire square and the entire hamlet. The goal is to involve the population in the process, not only through physical actions but also as a metaphor to develop a wider reappropriation of the area.

After an initial clearance and reorganization of the building that housed the kindergarten for 15 years, Camposaz participants worked in the outdoor space, a real “backyard” poorly used and not very sunny, due to its position. In order to revive and transform a marginal area, the participants used wood and highlighted some elements with a touch of spark red. The garden has been transformed into a place for collective meeting, an “open-air living room” available to the community. The porch space, previously used as a sandbox, has been converted into a counter that can be used during outdoor events. To mark the intervention, state the reactivation of the kindergarten, and making it visible also from the street, a totem has been created by using the scraps of wood production, some of them have been screwed directly on the structure by the inhabitants themselves during the inauguration day.
